Did you think we would leave our customers without these two beautiful liveries? Auscision Models has been working with the Liddle family over the last 4 years to produce these two models in HO scale, and we are now proud to announce our highly detailed NR Class Locomotive in these two National Rail indigenous liveries. NR30 “Warmi” & NR52 “Kungara Mankurpa” came out in 1997 in liveries developed by Aboriginal artist Bessie Liddle.
Each model will use high quality pad printing to represent all of the artist’s painting, and the reproduction will match the quality of the painting & printing of all Auscision Models previous products. As this process is quite labour intensive & time consuming our factory has assigned production time at the end of the year to complete these complex models.
The cost is also significantly higher than our standard models due to the sheer number of printing plates required to get the livery accurate on all the different body panels on the locomotive. We are expecting NR30 & NR52 to arrive around January 2020, shortly after our standard NR Class which are scheduled to arrive in December 2019.
Our NR Class will be available in both standard DC & DCC sound versions. Sound models will include a 21 pin ESU LokSound V5 decoder with Auscision Vandersound Classic speaker enclosure with twin speakers and will have prototypical sound files.
Limited numbers of each version are being produced so we advise ordering early to avoid missing out. Pre-order price will finish on 31st of December 2019. NR30 “Warmi” & NR52 “Kungara Mankurpa” are fully licenced by the artist’s agent.Warmi & Kungara Mankurpa © Bessie Liddle / Copyright Agency
